Access to natural gas Exchange trades (customs warehouse)

In order to conclude exchange agreements when trading in natural gas stored in gas storages in the customs regime "customs warehouse", using the Software Product "Exchange Electronic Trading System" in the version "UGS - Customs Warehouse" of the commodity exchange "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" it is necessary:

• Get acquainted with the Rules of exchange trade on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, the Regulations on lease of exchange places on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, as well as the Regulations of exchange trade in natural gas stored in gas storages under the customs regime "customs warehouse" (hereinafter - the Regulations).
• Obtain accreditation in the direction of "Exchange trades - Natural Gas" (medium- and long-term market) in case of its absence. On the Exchange’s website, go to the link Online Accreditation at the UEEX LLC, fill in the application form in electronic form, check the correctness of the entered data and click the "Submit" button.
• Conclude an interaction Agreement and ensuring the fulfillment of obligations by exchange trades participants (Annex 1 to the Regulations).
• Issue a power of attorney (powers of attorney) in order Exchange could provide representation for the Gas Storage Operator in the form established in Annex 2 to the Regulations.
• Provide the Gas Storage Operator with a letter of prior approval of permission to issue trade notifications (Annex 3 to the Regulations).
• Sign the Application for Accession to the Regulations in the form set in Annex 4 to the Regulations.
• Take a training course in the Software Product "Exchange Electronic Trading System" in the version "UGS - Customs Warehouse" of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange LLC.
• Obtain a login and password for access to the Software Product "Exchange Electronic Trading System" in the version "UGS - Customs Warehouse", to participate in exchange trades in the purchase and sale of natural gas.

Please note that in order to participate in the trades you must have a valid natural gas storage agreement with the Gas Storage Operator.
