analogue of a handwritten signature (AHS) - obligatory requisition of an application, position, editing of a position in the course of electronic exchange trading, offers (including counter), exchange transaction in PP BETS or other action of an electronic exchange trading participant and a document generated by results or on the implementation of such an action, in the PP BETS designed to protect it from a counterfeit, obtained as a result of the Exchange providing the electronic trading participant with a unique personal identifier that allows to identify a participant in electronic exchange trades, and also to establish that there is no distortion of information in documents and in the actions of a trading participant in the PP BETS;
application for purchase - a document submitted by a participant in exchange trades in accordance with the Exchange rules containing an unconditional offer for purchase of goods and the conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with terms of filed application. During an electronic exchange trading, a purchase application is an electronic document in the PP BETS, anonymous (without disclosing a participant of exchange trades that forms it and submits it to the PP BETS) and executed in the form prescribed by the Exchange, submitted by an electronic trading participant and signed by an electronic signature that contains an unconditional commercial offer for purchase of goods and conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with terms of filed application;
application for sale - a document submitted by a participant in exchange trades in accordance with the Exchange rules containing an unconditional offer for sale of goods and the conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with terms of filed application. During an electronic exchange trading, an application for sale is an electronic document in the PP BETS, anonymous (without disclosing a participant of exchange trades that forms it and submits it to the PP BETS) and executed in the form prescribed by the Exchange, submitted by an electronic trading participant and signed by an electronic signature that contains an unconditional commercial offer for the sale of goods and conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with terms of filed application;
automated workplace of the participant of electronic exchange trading - workplace from which a participant of electronic exchange trades accesses the PP BETS;
brokerage office - a non-permanent Exchange member, rents an exchange place from a permanent Exchange member and carries out exchange transactions in its own interests and / or in the interests of third parties (clients);
brokers - authorized individuals of permanent Exchange members or non-permanent Exchange members (brokerage offices) accredited on the Exchange in accordance with the Provision on Leasing Exchange Place on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, whose duties are to fulfill orders of the Exchange members (Exchange member’s clients), which they represent, regarding the execution of exchange transactions on the Exchange;
client of the participant of exchange trades - a person, on behalf of and in the interests of which the participant of exchange trades submits applications with the purpose of conclusion of exchange transactions on the Exchange;
commission fee - fee for services provided by the Exchange, incl. for registration of transactions (exchange fee, registration fee);
direction - a set of sections by the type of product;
electronic digital signature (EDS) - electronic digital signature in the definition of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Digital Signature";
electronic document - an electronic document in the definition of Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Documents and Electronic Document Management";
electronic document management (turnover of electronic documents) - electronic document circulation in the definition of Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Documents and Electronic Document Management";
electronic exchange trading - organization and conduct of exchange trading using PP BETS;
electronic signature - electronic signature in the definition of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Digital Signature" is provided in the PP BETS with the help of EDS or AHS;
emergency situation in the Exchange’s activity - any events and / or circumstances that, according to the Exchange management bodies, will temporarily or indefinitely render impossible or significantly complicate the Exchange’s performance of the functions assigned to it; To such events / circumstances, force majeure circumstances and other circumstances provided for by contracts concluded by the Exchange may be attributed; any events and / or circumstances that, in the opinion of the Exchange’s management bodies, create or may pose a threat to life and health of the Exchange’s employees;
exchange bulletin - an Exchange document containing information on orders/applications in the form of positions that are put up for exchange trades for sale, purchase, supply or exchange and their characteristics;
exchange certificate - a document certifying the conclusion by participants of exchange trades an exchange transaction for the purchase, sale or exchange of goods admitted for circulation on the Exchange and is registered on the Exchange no later than the day following the implementation of the agreement; in some cases may be defined as an "auction certificate";
exchange commodity - any item of economic turnover not withdrawn from turnover, admitted by the Exchange to exchange trades;
exchange members - permanent and non-permanent Exchange members;
exchange places - a certain set of quotas (stakes) of a permanent member in the authorized capital of the Exchange, which confirms membership in the Exchange, the right to participate in the management of the Exchange, including the right to execute exchange transactions on the Exchange, receive remuneration and other rights provided for by the current legislation of Ukraine and the Charter of the Exchange;
exchange trade - activities of the Exchange and participants of exchange trading aimed at conclusion of exchange transactions;
exchange trading - trading that are publicly held in the Exchange’s trading rooms or in the PP BETS with the participation of exchange members and / or brokers in goods admitted to circulation on the Exchange;
exchange trading "voice auction" - trades that are publicly held in the trading rooms of the Exchange with the participation of participants of exchange trades in goods admitted for sale on the Exchange;
exchange transaction - Exchange’s record of electronic exchange trading participants’ rights and obligations regarding the purchase and sale (supply, exchange) of the relevant goods;
lot - an indivisible batch of exchange goods, put up for sale or declared for purchase;
makler - a person authorized by the Exchange to conduct exchange trades "voice auctions" and monitor compliance with the Rules during such trades;
manipulation - illegal actions or influence of a participant in exchange trades on the price of an exchange commodity in their own interests or interests of third parties, as a result of which the acquisition or sale of an exchange commodity occurs at different prices than those that existed in the absence of such illegal actions or influence;
non-permanent Exchange member - a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur who has received membership by leasing Exchange’s place of a permanent Exchange member;
other forms of organized trading - organization and conduct of trading on other principles that differ from the principles of organizing and holding exchange trades, including auction trades, competitions, tenders, other forms of organized trading, are governed by the Exchange documents or Ukrainian legislation;
participants of exchange trades (bidders) - Exchange members and brokers, who have the right to conclude exchange transactions in trading and operating rooms and / or in the PP BETS;
permanent Exchange members - the founders of the Exchange and legal or natural persons admitted to its membership in accordance with the Charter of the Exchange, who paid the entrance fee and have an exchange place (or a certain number of exchange places);
position for purchase - an electronic document (application) in the PP BETS executed in accordance with the form established by the Exchange submitted by the participant of electronic exchange trades and signed by an electronic signature containing an unconditional offer (offer) for purchase of a certain position of the number of lots and the conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with the conditions of the filed position in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for conducting electronic exchange trading on the LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange";
position for sale - an electronic document (application) in the PP BETS executed in accordance with the form established by the Exchange submitted by the participant of electronic exchange trades and signed by an electronic signature containing an unconditional offer (offer) for the sale of a certain position of the number of lots and the conclusion of an exchange transaction in accordance with the conditions of the filed position in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for conducting electronic exchange trading on the LLC "Ukrainian Energy Exchange";
price of an exchange transaction - a price at which an exchange transaction is concluded and registered on the Exchange;
price of demand - a price that a participant in exchange trades (buyer) offers during exchange trades for an exchange commodity;
price of offer - a price at which the exchange trades begin in exchange commodity in a trading session;
price step - an amount by which unit price of the exchange commodity changes during the electronic exchange trades and exchange trades "voice auctions" (decreases / increases);
public key certificate - a document issued by the key certification authority that certifies action and ownership of the public key to the signer;
quotation commission - a special unit of the Exchange, which is created from the number of Exchange employees and approved by the Exchange Committee decision to ensure quotation (setting the price level) for goods sold on the Exchange and subject to quotation;
quoted price - price determined by the quoting commission of the Exchange by analyzing the prices of exchange transactions, bid prices, demand prices based on the criteria and methods of calculation established by the Exchange;
section - a specialized direction of the Exchange, in which the exchange trade is carried out by a certain group of exchange commodities;
security deposit - funds that are deposited on the current (settlement) account of the Exchange - a guarantee deposit, a bank guarantee, a letter of guarantee or other types of collateral that are separately established for each section by the relevant internal documents of the Exchange (procedures, rules, regulations, that are an integral part of the Rules), by participants in exchange trades or by separate decisions of the Exchange Committee taking into account the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, provided by the Exchange to the participants of exchange trading or their clients to participate in trades to guarantee the conclusion of an exchange transaction and / or to guarantee the performance of obligations under a contract concluded on the basis of an exchange certificate;

software Electronic Exchange Trading System (PP BETS) - a set of databases, technical, software, hardware, telecommunication systems, solutions and other means that enable collection, input, monitoring, analysis, storage, processing and dissemination of information necessary to conduct exchange trades and in the course and on the results of trades, conducting trades, confirming facts of committing exchange transactions;system of data collection, processing and distribution PP BETS - subsystem of PP BETS, is a set of software, databases and computing facilities for collecting and archiving information about the course of trading, filed applications, participants in exchange trades, characteristics of the exchange commodity, price of exchange commodities and its dynamics; collected information is processed and published in the form of a volume weighted average prices bulletin or in some other form in accordance with the Exchange’s internal documents and Ukrainian legislation;
technical failure - technical and / or technological disruption of a proper functioning of the hardware and / or software of the exchange trading organization, provided that it maintains its operable state;
trading day - day on which the Exchange conducts exchange trades in exchange commodities in accordance with the Rules;
trading session - a period of a trading day, during which exchange trades are carried out in exchange commodities;
transaction card (ticker) - a document signed by the participants of exchange trades based on the results of the exchange trades "voice auction", which indicates auction data, position of the bulletin, quantity, price of the seller (offer), buyer (demand), price of an exchange agreement) numbers of participants in exchange trades (seller and buyer). The necessity to issue a transaction card (ticket) is necessarily indicated by the Rules or other internal documents of the Exchange;
weighted average prices bulletin - a document that contains information on the quantitative characteristics and the cost of selling a certain exchange commodity, which was proposed and sold in exchange trades.
