Electronic auctions for the sale of electric energy are conducted in the "Exchange Electronic Trading System" software product (EETS) in the "Electric Power" version in accordance with the Regulations for the Organization and Conduct of Electronic Auctions for the Sale of Electric Energy on the Commodity Exchange – Limited Liability Company "Ukrainian Energy Exchange" (hereinafter – the Regulations), the Procedure for Conducting Electronic Auctions for the Sale of Electric Energy under Bilateral Agreements (hereinafter – the Procedure), approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 5, 2019, No. 499, in particular clauses 55—67 of the Procedure regarding special sessions for the sale of packages of lots of standard products.
In special sessions, sellers form packages of lots at their own discretion, with each package of lots being able to combine from 2 to 5 lots.
In order to be admitted to the auction, Buyers must provide the auction organizer with a certificate regarding the volumes of electric energy broken down by the consumers for whom they are making the purchase, no later than the start of the auction. A participant wishing to take part in the electronic auction must, before the start of the auction or directly during the trading period, submit an application to participate in the auction for the selected positions and ensure that, at the time such application is submitted, the general account in the EETS (Electric Power) contains the amount of the guarantee deposit required for participation in trading, in accordance with the application submitted by such participant, calculated from the starting price and covering the commission fee.
A participant’s applications are admitted to the auction automatically within the limits of the guarantee deposit amount available on the General account.
Transfer of the guarantee deposit by auction participants to the Exchange’s current account must be made with the payment purpose: «#EPBETS Replenishment of guarantee funds for participation in trading dated __.____.2026, without VAT» using the following details: account No. UA403004650000026003302394670 at JSC "Oschadbank", USREOU code 37027819.
Attention! If the key value in the payment purpose text is entered incorrectly, the corresponding amount will not be credited to the General account in the EETS (Electric Power), and will instead be returned as erroneously transferred funds to the auction participant’s current account upon a written application from the auction participant, signed by the head or another authorized person of such auction participant, and sealed (if a seal is available), submitted in any convenient manner (by fax, e-mail, etc.) with subsequent mailing of the original. The key value in the payment purpose text consists of the hashtag symbol («#») and the Latin capital-letter abbreviation EPBETS, entered without spaces - #EPBETS.
The electronic auction runs from 12:00 to 13:00 on 13.07.2026. If, as of 13:00, trading is still ongoing for any position, the electronic auction continues until trading is completed for the last lot/package of combined lots for which electronic trading is taking place.
The auction step is 5 (five) hryvnias per 1 MWh.
