On September 25, 2025, an auction for the sale of electricity was held at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, initiated by JSC NNEGC ENERGOATOM represented by a branch of ENERGOATOM-TRADING. The company put up for auction one base load schedule with a release period from October 1 to 10, 2025.
According to the results of the auction, 570,960 MWh out of 696,000 MWh offered for sale were sold, which is 82%. In total, participants concluded 88 agreements, and 48 companies became winners. The weighted average price was 4094.60 UAH/MWh.
Electronic auctions on the UEEX are a key tool for the sale of electricity under bilateral contracts. They ensure the openness of the sales process, equal conditions for all participants, and the ability to plan purchases for the medium and long term period.
"The results of the auctions once again confirm the high interest of the market in purchasing the resource from a reliable state-owned producer. Energoatom auctions are traditionally in demand, which is confirmed by the number of participants. "It is important that even during periods of market volatility, most participants responsibly fulfill the concluded agreements. The Ukrainian Energy Exchange provides a transparent and competitive platform for forming a fair price and effective sale of the resource," said Oleksandr Kovalenko, CEO of UEEX.
