Over the last month, PP BETS held 66 trading sessions for the purchase and sale of natural gas on the medium- and long-term market, as well as four trading sessions each day on the short-term market.
300 starting positions were formed in the PP BETS trading platform for August, September, and October 2025 resources in the GTS and UGS. A total of 41.45 million cubic meters of natural gas was sold on the medium- and long-term market. On the short-term market, 369 thousand cubic meters of natural gas were sold.
In July, the quoted prices on the medium- and long-term market in the section of the same name ranged from 17,800 to 20,775 UAH excluding VAT. Overall, prices were lower than in July, but there was an upward trend at the end of August. Auction initiators mainly set starting positions for purchases.
On the short-term market, exchange rates fluctuated daily within a similar range of UAH 18,500-20,450 excluding VAT. Sales were available exclusively in Ukraine’s gas transmission system.
August confirmed continued high activity on the natural gas market, despite price volatility. Although trading volumes declined slightly compared to the previous month, participants remain engaged in transactions on the medium- and short-term segments of the market, particularly with regard to supplies to the gas transmission system. The Ukrainian Energy Exchange continues to ensure the stable operation of the trading infrastructure, creating effective conditions for interaction between trading participants," said CEO of UEEX O.
