On May 1, 2025, representatives of Ukrainian Energy Exchange LLC met with senior students of the Poltava Law Institute of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. The event was aimed at familiarizing future lawyers with the practical aspects of the exchange’s activities, legal regulation of organized commodity markets and the peculiarities of financial monitoring.
Oksana Gerbach, UEEX Legal Director, told the students about the markets covered by the exchange, emphasizing the role of the UEEX as an operator of the organized commodity market of Ukraine and a subject of primary financial monitoring. She explained in detail the regulatory framework for commodity exchanges in Ukraine, the procedures for entering into exchange transactions and contracts, client risk management, how they are verified, and what sanctions may be applied to exchange trading participants in case of violations.
“Building a culture of compliance, understanding the principles of financial monitoring and the importance of transparent processes on the exchange is the knowledge that will help future lawyers in their professional activities. We are committed to sharing our experience and engaging young professionals in the development of organized commodity markets in Ukraine,” said Oksana Gerbach.

During the meeting, HR Manager Liliya Chorna informed the students about career opportunities in the company, told them about non-financial incentive programs, internship conditions and ways to grow professionally on the exchange.
The students also received information about vacancies available on the exchange and were invited to submit their resumes to participate in the competitive selection process.
