Compliance with current legislation, exchange trading rules, and regulatory requirements are the main principles of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange. Therefore, Exchange constantly monitors the fulfillment of trading participants’ obligations under concluded contracts, in accordance with the exchange Rules and Regulations.
By the decision of November 19 of this year, Exchange Committee decided to impose sanctions on nine participants who participated in trading in the section “Untreated timber and Lumber,” in particular for violating the obligation to pay a fine imposed by the decision of Exchange Committee UEEX LLC. Administrative sanctions were imposed on the nine participants who violated the rules in the form of suspension of admission to participate in exchange trading (auctions) by thedirection of “Untreated timber and Lumber” from November 21, 2025, until the participant fully repays its debt to the commodity exchange – UEEX LLC.
Exchange Committee emphasizes that the application of sanctions is a compulsory measure to ensure openness, transparency, and competition in trading. To prevent similar situations in the future, all participants must strictly comply with their obligations under the concluded agreements.
