June 14, is international Blood Donor Day – annually initiative aimed to attract attention on the importance of voluntary blood donation and to thank you those who saves live. The team of Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX) joined this initiative, held annually under the supervision of the World Health Organization.
Our Colleagues has visited blood transfusion station and become donors, contributing a lot on life and health saving of patients in all over of Ukraine.
This initiative is a part of UEEX social responsibility. It also contains an active participation in socially important events, that have a direct impact on the well-being of citizens.
“Donation – is a state of care of the others and the real support that can save lives. We are proud of our colleagues who joined the campaign and inspire by their example," said Oleksandr Kovalenko, UEEX CEO.
Doctors emphasize that regular donation not only saves others, but also has a positive effect on the donor’s health: it helps prevent heart disease, stimulates bone marrow function, and thins the blood, which reduces the risk of blood clots.
Ukrainian Energy Exchange will continue to support such initiatives that unite people around important values - mutual assistance and responsibility.
