For the last week untreated timber auctions at UUEX LLC showed the following results:
- Exhibited volume was 337,01 th. c. m;
- Sold timber 302,76 th. c. m;
- Untreated timber sales costs were UAH 990,12 mln. (incl. VAT);
- State received additional income during the English auction trades for the total amount UAH 126 000 mln. (incl. VAT).
Untreated timber sales distribution was as follows: 54% – firewood, 46% – round timber.
Round timber
For the reporting period, round timber for the total amount of 140,58 th.c.m. were sold with the total costUAH 725,77 mln. (incl. VAT).
Pine, oak, and spruce were the most commonly sold species, with their share in the total structure amounting to 87,59%, 6,91%, and 1,72%, respectively. We also sold such species as ash, aspen, beech, linden, hornbeam and others.
Maximal growth of the starting price was fixed at the level of 121%. Taking that the auction step is 1%, maximum number of steps was for aspen - 121, 96 for linden, and 83 for fir.

Firewood
During reporting period untreated timber sales volumes were 162,18 th. c.m. for the amount of UAH 264,35 mln. (incl. VAT).
The vast majority of wood (73%) were sold for industrial use, while 27% were sold for non-industrial.
Among firewood, pine firewood was in the highest demand, accounting for 69% of sales.

Price index
Birch showed the largest upward trend among roundwood price indices, with a price of UAH 5634,72 per cubic meter including VAT.
In turn, the maximum decline was observed for alder. The weighted average price index amounted to UAH 3655,09 per cubic meter including VAT, which is 36% less than last week.

The price index for non-industrial firewood of the second group increased the most, reaching UAH 1645,11 per cubic meter including VAT, which is 11% more than in the previous period.
Among all types of firewood, the cost of firewood of the third group decreased the most, which now amounts to UAH 1357,92 per cubic meter including VAT, which is 1% less than the previous figure.
