For the last week the following results were showed at the auctions of untreated timber at Ukrainian Energy Exchange:
- Exhibited volume was 156,05 th. c. m;
- Sold tomber 132,53 th. c. m;
- Timber sales value was UAH 512,63 mln. (incl. VAT);
- State received additional income during the English auction for the amount of UAH 89,50 mln. (incl. VAT).
The distribution of untreated timber sales was as follows: 75% - round timber, 25% - firewood.
Round timber
During the reporting period, 100,00 thousand cubic meters of roundtimber for a total amount of UAH 454,37 million (incl. VAT) were sold.
Spruce, fir and beech were the most popular species sold, with their share in the total sales amounting to 73,09%, 11,03% and 9,89%, respectively. The Group also sold oak, pine, red oak, larch, linden and other species.
The maximum increase from the starting price was recorded at 147%. Taking into account that the auction step is 1%, the maximum number of steps was 147 for red oak, 127 for spruce, and 108 for beech.

Firewood
During the reporting period, the volume of firewood sales amounted to 32,52 thousand cubic meters for the amount of UAH 58,27 million (including VAT).
The vast majority of firewood (95%) was sold for industrial use, while 5% was sold for non-industrial use.
Spruce firewood was the most popular among firewood products, accounting for 62% of sales.

Price indices
The largest upward trend among roundwood price indices was shown by alder, which grew by 17% to UAH 4282,05 per cubic meter including VAT.
In turn, the maximum decline was observed for oak. The weighted average price index amounted to UAH 20333,90 per cubic meter including VAT, which is 20% less than last week.

The price index for non-industrial firewood of the second group increased the most, reaching UAH 1857,47 per cubic meter including VAT, which is 13% higher than in the previous period.
Among all types of firewood, the cost of the third group decreased the most, which now amounts to UAH 878,38 per cubic meter including VAT.
