Untreated timber sales results as of the last week were as follows:
- Exhibited volume was 7,18 th. c. m;
- Timber sold for 6,44 th. c. m;
- Timber sales volume was UAH 17,39 mln. (incl. VAT);
- Forestry enterprises received additional income during the English auction in the amount of UAH 4,99 mln. (incl. VAT).
Sale of untreated timber was carried out by forestry enterprises from five regions of Ukraine. The largest volume was sold in the Kyiv region.
Distribution of untreated timber sales was as follows: 18,78% – round timber, 81,22% – firewood.
Round timber
During the reporting period, 1,21 thousand cubic meters of round timber were sold for a total of UAH 7,86 million (including VAT).
The largest share of sales was accounted for by pine, beech, and alder, which accounted for 30,93%, 24,82%, and 17,12% of total sales, respectively. Oak, birch, and hornbeam were also sold.
On average, the increase from the starting price at English auctions was 27%. Considering that the auction increment is 1%, the highest average was for pine – 32, oak – 31, and alder – 18.
Firewood
During the reporting period, the volume of firewood sales amounted to 5,23 thousand cubic meters worth UAH 9,53 million (including VAT).
The vast majority of firewood (56,23%) was sold for non-industrial use, while 43,77% was sold for industrial use.
Price indexes
The largest upward trend among the price indices for round timber was shown by birch, which increased by 13.47% to UAH 6275,97/m³ including VAT.
In turn, the maximum decline was observed for beech. The weighted average price index was 4588,95 UAH/cubic meter, including VAT.

Over the week, firewood price indices mostly increased.
The price of non-industrial wood in group 2 showed the largest increase. It currently stands at 2030,4 UAH/cubic meter, including VAT.
The price of non-industrial wood in group 3 remained at the previous level, which is 1405,92 UAH/cubic meter, including VAT.
